This 867-square-foot home sits nestled in a great street of South Middle River, Fort Lauderdale's next emerging neighborhood. As you enter the space you're greeted by it's bright and airy living space and kitchen.
The bespoke kitchen has all-Samsung appliances and a cooking island. "It's the heart of this home" says Alex Karamanoglou, VP of RPM Express, Inc., the company that undertook the project.
Complementing the home's rectilinear design is the dining/living space high vaulted ceilings, which partner Perez describes as "an essential element for a home this size."
The intent was for the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living areas to function as the heart of the home. The island features a beautiful and thin stark-white quartz countertop, which pairs well with the glossy linen-colored cabinetry from Spain. "I insisted in creating a comfortable kitchen that can still appeal to the avid cook," says Reinaldo Perez, the company's President.
The bathroom boasts floor to ceiling contemporary cement-look porcelain tile. It's outfitted with a stainless steel rain-shower head, and an LED backlit mirror and niche.
As with every RPM Home, this one has Smarts built-in
"A key differentiator, and advantage of RPM Express, is our ability to deliver full home automation and Audio/Video packages at a very reasonable cost." says Perez.
And this home is no different. Why should a home be deprived of modern luxuries and conveniences just because it's smaller?
This internet-connected home boasts a smartphone-controlled security system, that also manages all the efficint LED lights throughout the house. The system has a device that senses presence, and when programed, it can detect when you're close to the house, so it can turn on the lights, TV or stereo to greet you as you walk in. It can also be set to wake you up with your favorite station, or to slowly bring the lights up, and brew your favorite cup of coffee.
Best of all, you can control your home from anywhere in the world using your smartphone.
Karamanoglou closes by saying "The idea here was to create a home with special and unique touches that could be appreciated by anyone. We're confident that this home will delight those that decide to live in it, and we can't wait to meet them."
South Middle River is bound on the North by the South Fork of the Middle River, on the West by NW 9th Avenue (Powerline Road), on the East by NE 4th Avenue (inclusive of both sides), and on the South by Sunrise Boulevard.
